Dog Friendly

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome everywhere at The Fox & Hounds, as long as they are under their owner’s control, are quiet and are not aggressive to people or other dogs they will meet here.

I will be happy to tell you about my favourite walks, or even show you if I have time! Dogs are allowed in the bars and grounds, and also in the B&B Rooms. Bring your own food, food bowl and water bowl, though my outside bowl is usually available to be shared.

Dogs in B&B Rooms - Terms and Conditions Apply

- Dogs are charged at £15 per stay to cover additional cleaning costs. Payable on arrival, and non-refundable.
- Any fouling in bedrooms, public areas and grounds must be cleaned up immediately and the area sanitised by the dog owner. Failure to do so will result in a penalty payment of £50.00.
- The Pub does not accept any liability for any loss, damage or illness to pets.
- The Pub Staff will not give any assistance with the care and cleaning up after dogs.
- For reasons of Staff Insurance, your room will not be serviced while pets are present.
- Dogs are not allowed on the beds.
- Any additional costs incurred by the Pub for additional cleaning, repair or replacement of any item due to the dog (s) will be charged at cost.
- Please bring everything you need for the care of your dog with you, including poo bags, bedding, towels, food etc.
